Privacy policy

How we collect, use, protect and share the information needed to operate FinDeskHub.

Last updated: September 27, 2026

This policy is an informational baseline for public launch. Before operating in a specific jurisdiction, it should be completed with the legal identity of the controller, international transfers, retention periods and the providers actually used.

1. Scope and controller

This policy applies to the public site, free tools and FinDeskHub Financial Workspace (together, the “Service”). FinDeskHub determines the purposes and means of processing data received through the Service, without limiting the obligations of other providers or integrations.

2. Information we may process

  • Account and access data, such as display name, email address, sign-in provider and security records.
  • Information you enter into your workspace, such as accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, invoices and other financial data you choose to save.
  • Usage and technical data, such as language, browser, device, security events and logs needed to operate the Service.
  • Messages you send to support and the information needed to respond to you.

3. How we use information

  • Create and maintain your account, authenticate you and protect the Service against abuse or unauthorized access.
  • Save and display the information you request, run calculations and generate reports or features you activate.
  • Improve the reliability, accessibility, security and performance of the Service.
  • Meet legal obligations, handle data-subject requests and resolve disputes.

4. Providers and integrations

We may use infrastructure, authentication, email, analytics, storage and artificial-intelligence providers. They should receive only the information needed for their function and be subject to applicable contractual or legal obligations. The final provider and subprocessors list should be kept current for production operations.

If you connect Google, Microsoft, banks or other services, that integration may also be governed by the third party’s privacy policies. Review their terms before authorizing it.

5. Retention and security

We retain information while an account is active, while it is needed to provide the Service, or while a legal obligation requires it. We use reasonable access controls, encryption in transit, secret management and event logging, but no system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability or information about how your data is used. Contact support@findeskhub.com with your request and the email associated with your account. We may request additional information to verify your identity and prevent unauthorized changes.
