How this is calculated

Each year, dividend income is your share count times the current dividend per share. With DRIP on, that income buys more shares at the current price instead of being paid out as cash; any additional yearly investment always buys new shares, regardless of the DRIP setting. The dividend per share and the share price grow independently each year at their own rate — in real markets a company's dividend growth and its stock price don't always move together. This is a projection based on the growth rates you enter, not a guarantee: real dividends can be cut and real share prices can fall.
